Desert Wind

I gaze intent through unsure space,

feel every grain beneath me.

All destinations.

All directions,

warped in silence by

heat's unforgiving haze

curling up into the

clear blue desert sky.

I move slowly through milky time,

focus on each grain in turn.

Remember looks.

Remember words,

spoken gently with

small breaths close to me.

Sweet moisture absent from

this dry desert wind.
