Timidity

               [ timidity ]
      __________________________________________________

               --hard--hot--light--penetrates--

          pinning down to splintered stage
               me

whipping chrome gleam in my eyes

                          a_cough_to clear the tubes

not because _cough_ is a sign
                                      ---------
                  (which it is)
               i crackle my fingers

               s/t/u/t/t/e/r under lined words

               its name <jerks> first attention

               a newborn sucking sound
                              in thought

      the body follows-stronger-faster-
                               -flooding into existence

(my son, my daughter) my child
                                       --------

               its sudden gift of prescence

so satisfying but not so much-
                    -as weightless pause before

               my text-tube baby is received
                       its eyes reflect(?)
                                refract(?)

               i cannot see the FEAR
                            (of tightly closed)
                                     shrinks me

               below the lips and eyes

               breif unobserved seconds boil up

       andoverflowinto.orgasmic.rushofpeergrouppleasure

               this is the right time
               ---- ----- to listen

pink flush of new pregnant dawn

                     s p r e a d s.
